Laura Leeds is a fun-loving, clever, and easygoing young woman. Although many judge her based on her dark makeup, black
hair, interests, and Goth-styled clothing, she is very perceptive and intelligent. In her last year of high school and first(and
only) year of college, she took psychology courses in hopes of one day becoming a child psychologist. Things took a negative
turn when one of her professors learned of her interest in demonology and the occult. Since childhood, she had been a connoisseur
of horror movies and the darker side of the world. The professor used this knowledge, as well as her style, to cause her to
get ejected from the psychology class. Discouraged, Laura began spending her time partying and drinking; having assumed that
she would never amount to anything. She currently lives unemployed with her older brother.
Diane Parker has worked behind the scenes at the Little Park Police Department for four years. She was born and raised
in the south where her parents got her involved in cheerleading and track. They wanted her to have a career in athletics or
modeling and went to many lengths to see that she would. She won several beauty pageants and collected more than a few awards
in track. However, as soon as she graduated from college (at 21, having privately studied law) she began pursuing a career
in law enforcement, much to her parents' chagrin. Eventually, wanting to test herself, she moved to Philadelphia and graduated
with honors from the academy there. Shortly afterwards, she relocated to Little Park where she initially hoped to become a
Chief or Lieutenant, but instead settled for a job as an administrative assistant. She isn't respected due to the seeming
insignificance of her role (except by Detective Brown and Chief Washington), but she holds the LPPD together and is an integral
part of the force.
